Stand Up & Explore
‘Stand Up & Paddle’ £50 per person (group instruction up to 6 per instructor)
Stand Up & Paddle lessons are designed especially for adult complete beginners or for those who have done a little stand up paddle board riding before and who want to learn properly. They are also for those who have not yet completed their BSUPA 'Ready to Ride' certificate and wish to do so. These lessons are conducted in sheltered, flat, inland waters and your instructor will teach you step by step how to stand up and get paddling. The very small group session will last approximately two hours and when you have mastered all of the basics (which most people can do in one session) you will receive your BSUPA 'Ready to Ride' certificate.
'Stand Up & Progress’ £45 per person (group instruction up to 6 per instructor) Stand Up & Progress sessions are approximately 2 hours long and designed for adult riders who have yet to finish their BSUPA 'Ready to Ride' certificate or those who have completed it and want to practice and improve. Stand Up & Progress sessions are intended to provide a focussed level of tuition for improving confidence, balance, stance, paddling skills, speed, board handling, safety in different conditions and general paddling knowledge. They are tailored to the development needs of individuals and we use HudlTechnique slow motion video to give specific personal feedback. These sessions are are also used for trying out different styles of boards and paddles. Please talk to us about your paddling ambitions and we will work hard to help you achieve them!
'Stand Up & Explore' - £35 per person - 'SUP Senoritas' £35 per person (group instruction up to 6 per instructor)
Stand Up & Explore (occasional) and SUP Senoritas (weekly) sessions are for adult riders who have already completed their BSUPA 'Ready to Ride' certificate, are paddling with confidence and who want to explore the beautiful local rivers and estuaries, or paddle socially with others and an instructor. We can build in 'coffee and cake stops' and moments to observe nature, wildlife or maritime heritage from a new angle! As with everything we do at Frangipani SUP we will tailor these sessions to the abilities and ambitions of our riders whilst keeping a sharp eye on safety.
